Who are our I-SMS training courses and workshops designed for?
Our EASA Part-IS training courses and workshops are designed for aviation companies involved in development, manufacturing, and maintenance that are implementing or have implemented an Information Security Management System and wish to provide basic training to new employees. Previous experience is not mandatory. We’ll tailor the training to your current level of knowledge. Since these are typically in-house training sessions, we can address company-specific issues in detail and develop solutions. The target audience for this training includes:

The training covers the I-SMS requirements of EU Regulations (EU) 2022/1645 and 2023/203. The training also covers EASA implementation guidance (Acceptable Means of Compliance, Guidance Material) to build a truly solid foundation of knowledge. Practical challenges, as well as tips and tricks, round out the training.

- A Comparison of International Standards (ISO 27001, NIST)
- Practical Implementation of Part-IS.OR, Including AMC & GM, Case Studies & Interactive Scenarios
- Case Study 1: Scope Definition for a 21G/Part 145 Organization
- Case Study 2: Creating an Asset List (Critical Systems, Data, Interfaces)
- Case Study 3: Risk Assessment, Including Evaluation of Security Objectives
- Case Study 4: Threat scenarios (e.g., phishing, ransomware, supply chain attacks) with safety implications
Conclusion:
Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from us certifying you as an EASA Part-I expert in the fields of development, production, and maintenance (Part 21 / Part 145 / Part CAMO).
